Digital Signage Company Introduces Wayfinding Kiosks for Graveyards

Procon Digital (Skedsmo, Norway) has developed a digital wayfinding solution for graveyards that helps visitors locate headstones and other markers, digital signage blog Sixteen:Nine writes.

The software updates to include recent burials, and kiosk users can access a map that shows where graves are and how to find them, the article says.

From Procon’s website:

When you are going to visit a grave you do not know where it is, you simply enter the name of the grave you are going to visit. With a digital on-screen guide, you get a map that shows where the grave is and how to get there. … With simple keystrokes, care of the grave, creation of tombstones, etc. are also ordered. In addition, Procon Digital KirkeVert with GravplassInfo offers the opportunity for an obituary of, for example, famous personalities who are buried.
