Eco-friendly Production Printer

Roland DGA Corporation (Irvine, CA) is announcing the VersaArt RS series of eco-solvent, wide-format printers. VersaArt prints up to 136.7 sq. ft./hr. in standard mode and 230 sq. ft./hr. on the 64-in. RS-640’s billboard mode. Offered in 54 and 64-in. CMYK models, the VersaArt, a production tool for indoor and outdoor graphics, supports fabric applications.

The machines use Intelligent Pass Control™ technology and a three-dimensional, ink-firing system that controls droplet size and placement for smooth results and brilliant colors. VersaArt is Energy Star certified and carries Roland’s Eco-Label, an ISO 14021 Type II label that certifies compliance with the company’s internal environmental standards.
