EFI Announces VUTEk QS3250r

EFI (Foster City, CA) has announced its 3.2-meter UV roll-to-roll QS3250r, with platen temperature control. The QS3250r features include automated, laser-aligned, double-sided printing and enhanced registration for double-sided banners. It also features a temperature-controlled platen unit that allows printing on various materials, including low-cost and heat-sensitive media, up to to .125 in. thick.
The QS3250r images at speeds up to 1,850 sq. ft./hr., with resolution choices up to 1080 -dpi, which, EFI said, makes it ideal for producing indoor and outdoor posters and signage, quality POP displays, fleet graphics and high-margin wallpaper applications.
The printers advanced media handling system ensures effortless media travel. A media alignment scale and platen vacuum gauge reduce the set-up time and contribute to the machine’s workflow efficiency. All EFI VUTEk superwide printers are optimized for use with Fiery® XF, EFI’s production RIP solution for superwide and wide-format printers.
