EFI Names Phoseon Key Supplier

EFI (Foster City, CA) has named Phoseon Technology (Hillsboro, OR), the key technology supplier of UV, LED-curing technology for a new line of VUTEk® superwide inkjet printers. UV LED curing allows for output on wider media and various heat-sensitive materials, including roll-to-roll printing, the company says.

This technology is featured in the EFI Vutek GS3250LX, a 3.2-meter, hybrid, digital UV printer. It is designed for localized messaging, increased capacity, with UV LED lamps that replace traditional mercury-based lamps.
