Enfocus Releases New Short Film for the Holidays

Enfocus (Ghent, Belgium) has released a new short film just in time for the holidays. Marking the software company’s second spoof of a Christmas classic, Print Alone takes the most memorable moments from one of Hollywood’s most popular movies of the season and applies print automation. The 2:48 flick can be viewed on YouTube here.

Featuring appearances by Yves Sanchez, Tim Bernaerd, Piet de Pauw, Willem Swiggers and Naomi Sanchez, and created by crew members Pedro Chaves and Claudina Perez (with contributions from 3Motion), the movie makes a humorous point about the labor needed for automated vs. manual printshop operations — fitting for a software company specializing in automated workflows and PDF quality control in the graphics industry. De Pauw, Enfocus’ head of marketing, delivers an Oscar-worthy performance that blends the comical notes of an 8-year-old Kevin McCallister with the graceful athleticism of Black Swan.

This isn’t the first year the Esko company has produced a heartwarming holiday tale. To see Enfocus’ 2021 take on a famed Christmas rom com, check out Print Actually on YouTube here
