Epson Rolls Out New Dye-Sublimation Printer

Epson America (Los Alamitos, CA) has announced the introduction of its SureColor F10070H, a dye-sublimation, 76-in., wide-format printer for industrial use.

The printer offers multiple ink configurations, including light cyan, light magenta, fluorescent pink and fluorescent yellow. It includes six user-replaceable, 4.7-in. PrecisionCore printheads and UltraChrome DS6 ink technology, delivering speeds up to 2,635 sq. ft./hr.

“As textile and apparel manufacturers expand production strategies to meet faster lead times, the SureColor F10070H enables shops to create high-quality customized clothing, unique sportswear, individualized novelty products, customized socks, décor pillows, and more in the amount needed,” Tim Check, senior product manager of professional imaging for Epson America, said in a release. “The industrial-level SureColor F10070H enables producers to support just-in-time digital production, eliminating the need for stockpiling garments and allowing shops to easily replenish weekly demand.”

The high-capacity, replaceable ink pack system holds 20 liters of ink per color. The SureColor F10070H includes auto paper-tension control and a fabric head wiper for continuous production in industrial environments.

The new printer will ship direct from Epson America starting in July. For more information, visit epson.com.
