Expandable PVC Material

Alcan Composites USA (Mooresville, NC) is introducing Sintra Print-Optimized, a lightweight, expandable PVC material, to its graphic-displayboard line. This substrate, engineered for superior ink adhesion, accommodates faster digital-printing needs than Bright White Sintra board, the company reports. Ideal for direct-printing signs, exhibits, POP displays and kiosks, Sintra Print-Optimized can also be used in mounting applications.

The Sintra Print-Optimized surface is available on 3- and 6mm product thicknesses, with varying sheet sizes. Sintra, available in several colors, including white, is easy to fabricate with wood or foamboard techniques. It cuts clean, smooth edges and can be direct printed, the company says. Sintra fabricates easily without special tools and can be heat formed and laminated to other materials.
