Fastsigns Named Top 25 Franchises for Hispanics

Fastsigns® Intl. Inc. (Carrollton, TX) has been named one of the “Top 25 Franchises for Hispanics” by the National Minority Franchising Initiative (NMFI).
NMFI developed the list based on historical performance, brand identification, franchisee satisfaction, training, on-going support and financial stability. Another important determinant is the percentage of existing franchises that are Hispanic-owned, as well as the number of Hispanics in the franchisor’s top management levels.
Catherine Monson, Fastsigns’ CEO, said, “We pride ourselves as a business-oriented franchisor trying to help Latinos and other minorities realize their full potential by offering modest costs of entry, a proven and successful business model, outstanding initial training and start-up assistance, and excellent ongoing support.”
NMFI estimates more than 6% of franchised outlets are currently owned by Hispanics.
Tom Ramirez, owner of a Longmont, CO Fastsigns, said, “After extensive due diligence, I was immediately attracted to Fastsigns because of the training and support offered through the corporate office and the leadership team in place. The company is dedicated to providing the tools and resources needed so that my business is equipped for growth and success.”
Abe Sales, who owns a Campbell, CA Fastsigns center, said, “After spending several years working in the Campbell store, FASTSIGNS afforded me the opportunity and support to become a franchise owner myself. I can’t think of a better brand to be part of.”
The NMFI survey results were published in the April 2010 issue of PODER (“ability” or “power” in Spanish) magazine, the successor to Hispanic Enterprise.
