Fisher Textiles (Indian Trail, NC) is presenting fabrics for dye-sublimation and UV-cure-ink printing. GF 8880 Opaque White FR is a blockout, fire-retardant material that allows one-sided printing. According to AATCC testing, the material transmits 1.3% of light projected onto it. Fisher Textiles offers the three-layer (white-black-white), 8-oz.-density material 125 in. wide, and states it has an extreme white point. The company also offers GF5355 Cascade for awnings, exterior banners and interior, roll-up banner stands. Available 118 in. wide, the 6.9-oz. substrate contains a waterproof treatment, and received an 80 grade with AATCC’s spray test. Both materials are NFPA 701-compliant.
