Fluid Color Announces ThermaFlex R129 Ink

Fluid Color (Hebron, KY) has introduced the ThermaFlex R129, a new ink produced exclusively for the company’s flatbed printer series, which includes the TF53F, TF84F and TF105F.

ThermaFlex R129 joins Fluid Color’s Kaleidoscope family of UV curable inks, custom inks designed for the company’s hybrid, roll-to-roll and flatbed versions of its wide-format UV inkjet printers.

According to Fluid Color, the ThermaFlex R129 stretches with the substrate after being heated, allowing the image to remain intact. This feature helps smaller printers reach a new level of performance as they attempt to compete with larger printers.
