Fujifilm Uvistar2 Inkjet Printer

Fujifilm (Valhalla, NY) is expanding its Uvistar printer line with the Uvistar2, a super-wide-format, UV, inkjet printer. The printer uses 20- and 40-pl drops in the same pass, and is designed to offer density and fine-detail printing without a reduction in print speed. The company also says it has upgraded the printer’s electronics for improved control over printhead heating.

The Uvistar2 prints on substrates up to 1 in. thick and offers roll-to-roll, free-fall and optional, hybrid-flatbed media handling.
