GAMUT MEDIA (FULLERTON, CA) recently completed a massive signage project for a Bandai Hobby pop-up store in the Little Tokyo District of Los Angeles centered around Gundam, the Japanese science fiction franchise. Gamut produced over 1,500 sq. ft. of wall wraps, over 400 sq. ft. of floor wraps and 20-plus standing cutouts, as well as exterior signage, window graphics and banners.

Gamut collaborated with Bandai Namco Holdings, the company that owns the Gundam franchise, and Bluefin brands, a North American distributor, on the project. “We worked with Bluefin and Bandai designers and used their artwork to create a unique, fully wrapped store that would give their customers a complete Gundam experience,” Gamut Media’s Mark Lim said. “We had very tight deadlines and had to coordinate with people overseas to complete the project. Many of the prints had to be designed, printed, and installed on the same day.”

Gamut is in talks with Bandai and Bluefin for additional Gundam projects in 2021.
