Gemini Inc. (Cannon Falls, MN) is debuting detachable stud mounts designed for its stainless-steel, fabricated letters. The two-piece studs comprise set screws with detachable collars. The hardware allows stud mounts with standoffs to be detached after installation when servicing is required. According to the company, the hardware is ideal for halo-lit letters illuminated with LEDs, because installers can remove the cans for servicing without visible mounting screws on the letter returns. The studs can also be used with letters that require removal without pulling studs from the wall. The mounts are available for letters up to 18 in. tall with 10 to 24 stud mounts and standoffs up to 1.5 in. deep.
