Gerber Scientific, Inc. (South Windsor, CT), parent company of Gerber Technology, Gerber Scientific Products and Spandex Ltd., has appointed Thomas Finn, senior VP of global operations, to the additional role of President of Asia Pacific. Based in Shanghai, Finn is to optimize Gerber’s business growth in the Asia Pacific region. He’ll report to Marc Giles, Gerber Scientific’s president and CEO.
Finn joined Gerber Scientific in early 2010. Previously, he served as supply-chain VP for Lucent Technologies Inc. and as Lucent s Asia operation’s chief.
Gerber Scientific established a regional management office in Hong Kong in 1980; today, the company serves more than 5,500 Asia-Pacific customers.
