GMG (Tuebingen, Germany) is announcing its GMG ProductionSuite 2.0, wide-format production workflow software that features a SmartProfiler profile system that references numerous printers, media and inks. It supports more than 1,000 output devices. The modular, GMG ProductionSuite comprises a prepress file Editor, RIP, SmartProfiler and PrintStation. SmartProfiler 2.0 also creates optimized test-chart layouts for large- and wide-format printers.
Additional modules feature industrial cutting, true-shape nesting, screen and variable-data printing. It also features enhanced layout tools, an interior-decoration option and GMG ProductionSuite Focus edition.
GMG is also releasing its entry-level, GMG ProductionSuite Focus Edition RIP and workflow package.
