Happy Veteran’s Day!

Because the U.S. now operates all-volunteer armed forces instead of a draft, those of us who haven’t served often can’t fully relate to the sacrifices our military makes to defend our nation. With so many conflict hotspots the world over, the demands placed on those in uniform are exponentially more. Such demonstrations as these, which were staged at NFL stadiums for Veterans Day last year, may not reunite soliders with their families, but such gratitude can only help morale.
