Down The Hatch

Hatch Show Print’s (hatchshowprint.com) historic letter-press has been churning out event posters in Nashville, TN since 1879. Although founded by William H. Hatch in Prescot, WI as a printer of circus posters and handbills, the move to Tennessee revealed Hatch’s true calling: promoting country music. The distinctive and simplistic look of the wood-block prints blended seamlessly with the emerging music genre to create a lasting link that endures today in its iconic posters.

In addition to the working printshop, Hatch now has a retail store, an art gallery, and classroom and workshop spaces at its downtown Nashville location.
