Henkel Acrylic Adhesives

Henkel Corp. (Rocky Hill, CT) is presenting two Loctite® structural, acrylic adhesives that secure metal components. Loctite H8100™ cures in 20 minutes, and H8110 Speedbonder bonds securely in five minutes. According to the company, the bonding agents offer excellent peel and shear strength equal to overlap welds and surpasses spot welds and rivets. The compounds feature glass spacer beads that bolster toughness and prevent adhesive oozing out of the joint during clamping, Henkel states.
