Hexis (Frontignan, France) is presenting its HXL2300WG2 PVC-free, latex, vehicle-wrap film. The 3.9-mil film, which the company unveiled at FESPA in Munich, reportedly doesn’t contain solvents, plasticizers and heavy metals, and comprises a water-based, plastic-material emulsion that may be printed with such full- or eco-solvent inks as Mutoh Mubio and HP latex. Designed for dry application, the media features the HexPress repositionable, polyethylene liner that facilitates air egress. According to the company, the film, when laminated, offers a three-year lifespan.
