Hot Dog, Hot Dog, Now We Got Ears

D3 LED (NYC and Rancho Cordova, CA) has brought even more shine to the Disney Store Times Square. The new LED digital display was unveiled October 21, 2010, and it begins the countdown to the store’s grand-opening celebration November 9, at 1540 Broadway, between 45th and 46th streets. The digital display will show custom and exclusive content from the Walt Disney Co. The display will receive an estimated 1.5 million impressions each day (according to figures provided by Times Square Alliance).

“D3 is grateful to have been selected as the design, technology and manufacturing partner, and onsite project manager for digital-display applications at Disney Store Times Square,” said Jason Barak, D3 managing partner, sales and marketing. “D3’s LED display technology provided Disney Store not only with a very capable control system, but one that can adapt and grow with content demands over the life of the display,” Barak continued.

Also, Aeropostale’s new flagship, slated to open Friday, October 22, in Times Square, aims to introduce the concept to international visitors and ease overseas expansion efforts. The 15,000-sq.-ft. store, formerly occupied by the MTV Store at 1515 Broadway at 45th St., will welcome visitors with a 120-ft. digital display designed and engineered by D3 LED. The Times Square store will carry limited-edition items not found in other Aeropostale stores.
