HP-Compatible Media

Flexcon (Spencer, MA) is revealing production of its wide-format, digital media with 6-in. cores, which makes it compatible with HP’s TurboJet printers. The company offers FLEXmark®, LITEcal®, BUSart®, BUSmark®, RAILmark® and SEEThru-Sign® media in 300- and 750-ft. rolls. Also, FLEXcon pre-slits the media for easier handling and preboxes them for same-day shipping.

FLEXcon is also announcing its development of DPM® CVE, a UV-resistant, velvet-finish, embossed polyolefin overlaminate film. A permanent, acrylic adhesive coats the film, which is backed with a 71-lb., clay-coated release liner that enhances smoothness and adhesive flow. The coating offers two-year, outdoor durability at a lower cost than traditional overlaminates, and is designed to enhance nameplate graphics, the company reports.
