HP Latex Printing

HP (Palo Alto, CA) is announcing two new products – the HP Latex 3000 printer and the HP Scitex FB10000 Industrial Press — and the rebranding of its HP Designjet and Scitex latex printers and supplies as HP Latex. The HP Latex 3000 can produce 830 sq. ft./hr. for indoor applications and 1,290 sq. ft./hr. for outdoor applications. It images with HP’s new, scratch-resistant, HP 881 latex inks that feature lower-temperature curing than previous HP Latex printers. HP Latex Inks are UL ECOLOGO and GREENGUARD Gold CertifiedSM and the prints meet AgBB criteria and are A+ rated by Émissions dans l’air intérieur.
HP is also introducing its six-color. direct-to-board, HP Scitex FB10000 Industrial Press that features HP Scitex high-dynamic range (HDR) — 16-gray-level — print technology; the FB10000 images up to 6,727 sq. ft./hr.
