Impaired Driver Hits Impaired Driver Warning Sign

An impaired driver was arrested on March 17 in Batavia, OH, for driving under the influence and running into an “Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated” (OVI) warning sign in the area of Ohio State Rt. 32, according to WCPO-Channel 9 News in Cincinnati, among other local news sources.

Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) Batavia had received a tip about a reckless driver prior to finding the scene and making the arrest. No word on the identity of the driver or whether or not there was an injury involved — though the irony is clear to all.
