In Dublin, CA, a Battle over Billboards

Some Dublin, CA residents are objecting to a proposed LED billboard. The city’s new Hyundai dealership would like to install a two-sided LED billboard near I-580’s westbound Hopyard exit, Around Dublin reports, and has hired a lobbyist to present its case to the Dublin City Council.

The dealership believes the sign will generate revenue for the city through increased sales. Dublin Planning Manager Jeff Baker is asking residents and business owners for feedback.
