Roland DGA Corporation (Irvine, CA) is presenting the SolJet Pro III XC-540, which, according to the company, is its fastest and most feature-laden integrated inkjet printer/cutter to date. The 54-in.-wide XC-540 achieves 1,440 x 1,440-dpi resolution and a 441-sq.-ft./hr. maximum print speed, and offers an ink system that accommodates 220- and 440ml cartridges. Additional features include an integrated, tri-heater system that accelerates drying time; a built-in, media-feed and take-up system that handles rolls that weigh up to 66 lbs., and an upgraded RIP system for greater productivity.
