Jackson Convention Complex Chooses Daktronics for New LED Marquee Tower

Daktronics Inc. (Brookings, SD) is announcing it will design, manufacture and install a full-color, digital marquee display for the recently opened Jackson Convention Complex, in Jackson, MS. Installation of the marquee display is scheduled for March 2009. The marquee will display upcoming events and provide community news.

The 21 x 9 x 3-ft. marquee will be a fully digital LED tower, with Daktronics PS-16 LED video technology wrapped around all four sides.

The marquee can present recorded video images, animation and graphics with high brightness and wide-angle visibility.

Built to green-facility standards, the Jackson Convention Complex will feature 128,000 sq. Ft. of meeting space, encompassing a 60,000-sq.-ft. exhibit hall, a 25,000-sq.-ft. ballroom, and 33,000 sq. Ft. of lobbies, concourse, and pre-function areas.
