Kern Laser Systems (Wadena, MN) has announced the release of the EcoFlex laser cutting and engraving system. The EcoFlex is a large-format machine available with work areas of 52 x 50 in. and 52 x 100 in. CO2 laser sources of 100, 150, 200 and 250 watts can be installed.

Included with the EcoFlex are a computer, monitor, CorelDRAW and KCAM software and a chilling unit, which cycles distilled water and cleaning solution through the laser source, resulting in consistent beam quality, according to the company. The machine is built with a welded-steel chassis and comes with several safety features and tech support.
