CAO Group Inc. (West Jordan, UT) is offering the Dynasty High Flux LED for its Dynasty CL channel-letter illumination line. A driver that’s included in the base provides constant current and transforms AC/DC low voltage to ~3.3 V. With these standard connection bases, LED lighting can be used in low-voltage (12VDC), outdoor, portable or task-lighting application, including replacements in existing designs that use conventional 1156 products.
Available with white, blue, cyan, green, yellow and red, the bulb is screw-mounted on a waterproof 1156 base. The high-brightness white units boast an efficiency of up to 100 lmW, a removable package and a 360° viewing angle. The RoHS-compliant package, which can be panel mounted, requires no external heat sink.
Dynasty’s optical design uses smaller-than-usual LED chips, which result in a cool-operating design.
