SloanLED (Ventura, CA) is introducing the ChanneLED 5 lighting system for illuminating lettersets and sign cabinets. The system features the SloanStretch, which allows installers to extend wire another two inches for tight turns or corners.
The system is powered by SloanLED's universal, modular, 12VDC power supply that allows mix-and-match capabilities between colors and the company's other product lines. The reportedly brighter LEDs and wide-viewing angles allow even, brighter illumination in halo-lit letters, channel letters, lightboxes and other low-voltage applications that are 5-in.-deep and up. The company's Constant Current Technology guards against overdriving and helps provide a consistent light output. The product can operate in temperatures ranging from -40 to 60 degrees F. The system is backed by a limited warranty up to five years.
