March 2020 Letter to the Editor

I JUST READ YOUR article “Slowing Down”. Enjoyed it very much. With all of the busyness and desire to succeed in this life, it is rare to find someone willing to slow down. [People think] that they will miss opportunities. I have found it to be just the opposite. Success is not always measured in financial gain. When we take the time to slow down, we have the opportunity to see life flourishing all around us. Just as you were able to see “minuscule sea creatures” looking for new hosts.

I recently read The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer and highly recommend reading it. I believe it is one of the best books that has been written on slowing down and living in the present moment. You can also view a few videos on YouTube if you search for John Mark Comer.
