Lightfair Intl. (LFI) announced its 2010 Innovation Awards winners. Four companies were recognized as lighting-industry leaders in innovative product design and technology. The awards program encompassed nearly 200 products that debuted during the last 12 months or were launched at the tradeshow.
The 2010 key award winners are:
Helieon Sustainable Light Module System by Bridgelux and Molex: Most Innovative Product of the Year, the program’s highest award, recognizing the best, most innovative new product.
Light-Drive Elite by Traxon USA: Design Excellence Award, which recognizes outstanding achievement in design and application;
SSL2102 by NXP Semiconductors: Technical Innovation Award, for the most forward-thinking lighting-technology advancement.
LightLouver Daylighting System by LightLouver: Judges’ Citation Award, a special award for an innovative product at the judges’ discretion.
