Lincoln Acquires Two Companies

Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc. (Cleveland) has acquired the welding-related assets of Techalloy Co. Inc and its parent company, Central Wire Industries Ltd. Lincoln Electric also has acquired substantially all of Applied Robotics Inc.’s assets. Applied Robotics, known in the industry as Torchmate, is a CNC-cutting-table manufacturer. Torchmate employs 44 people and had trailing, 12-month sales of $13 million when acquired.
