Live-content Digital Signage Platform

Garland Partners Ltd. (Warwickshire, England), Remote Media (Essex, England) and Teracue (Odelzhausen, Germany) have collaborated to bring together a simple, stable, live-content electronic digital signage platform that is scaleable to deliver the right message to many end-points.

Remote Media’s “signagelive” platform helps create date- and time-specific playlists of digital-media content that can then be installed across multiple sites and managed from a standard Internet browser

Garland Partners have worked with Remote Media to integrate Teracue’s ENC-100/ENC-200 real-time MPEG-2/H.264 encoders, to feed live video, or the output from a digital set-top box, and convert this to an IP stream to be incorporated into the signagelive scheduling system. This can also be extended to a live TV feed from digital satellite, terrestrial or cable by using Teracue’s DVB-100 video-gateway cards and then simply adding this to an existing playlist.
