MACtac Announces HP Media-Testing Agreement

MACtac (Stow, OH) is announcing its arrangement as HP Registered Latex Developer. Per the agreement, MACtac will tests and profile its media on HP’s DesignJet L65500 printer. The machine uses HP’s new latex inks, which are reportedly the first water-based inks that can print on uncoated substrates while maintaining durability on par with solvent inks. According to the company, the latex inks emit no harmful VOCs. MACtac reports several of its media have undergone testing and approvals. They include IMAGin® B-free® inkjet-printable vinyl and window films, IMAGin PrintVinyl, IMAGin wallNOODLE™ StreetRap™ and RoughRAP®. The company reports 20 profiles have been created, and more are in development. For more information, visit www.mactac.com/graphics or call (866) 822-8223.
