MACtac (Stow, OH) is announcing enhancements to its Permacolor® ColorGard™ intermediate overlaminates. Designed for retail displays, wall murals and POP graphics, ColorGardCG 8000, a 3-mil, intermediate-grade, vinyl topcoat offers outdoor durability up to four years. The coating also features a smooth, clay-coated, kraft liner that, according to the company, delivers an even adhesive layer that minimizes trapped air and thorough adhesive wet-out that eliminates silvering between the graphic and topcoat for improved color fidelity.

MACtac offers the overlaminate in luster, gloss and matte finishes in 150-ft.-long, 38-, 51-, 54- and 60-in.-wide rolls.
