MACtac (Stow, OH) is introducing Permacolor® LUV™ pressure laminate with its ColorGard™ adhesive. According to the company, the adhesive pairs with an enhanced LUV facestock that’s developed to improve efficient processing through cold-roll lamination without heat, drying or coating. The adhesive wet-out over inkjet prints reportedly improves lamination for POP displays, retail signs, tradeshow graphics and wall murals. The topcoat is compatible with solvent-, eco-solvent, UV-cure, latex- and water-based-ink printing, and protects against abrasion, moisture, UV-light exposure and other environmental hazards.
