Mimaki USA Announces Two New Roll-to-Roll Inkjet Printers

Mimaki USA (Suwanee, GA) has launched a pair of new roll-to-roll inkjet printers: the JV100-160 (uses eco-solvent ink) and UJV100-160 (uses UV LED ink).

According to the company, the latest additions to Mimaki’s 100 Series printers are designed for the sign and graphics market, and each features the new Dot Adjustment System (DAS), “which offers automatic alignments to ensure consistent quality and repeatability.”

The JV100-160 is ideal for photographic prints, vehicle wraps and POP graphics. The optional light black ink configuration “provides enriched greyscale gradation, higher contrast and sharper details,” while the orange ink option “extends the color gamut beyond that of standard inkjet printers.”

The UJV100-160 is suitable for printable media like PVC, fabrics, paper without an ink receiving layer, and PET films. The LUS 170 UV LED inks used by the UJV100-160 are flexible enough to produce print work such as vehicle graphics, banners, stickers and decals.
