Mitsubishi Electric Installs Diamond Vision Screen at Boat Race Fukuoka

Mitsubishi Electric Corp. (Tokyo) has installed a Diamond Vision large-scale display system at Boat Race Fukuoka in Fukuoka, Japan. The 1,513-in. screen replaces the previous CRT screens installed in 1996. It is the second-largest display at a Japanese boat racecourse and the largest in the Kyushu area.
The screen, which displays high-definition video content, incorporates LEDs aligned vertically and horizontally in a 15mm dot pitch. The display system faces the main stand across the racing surface and will flexibly display various programs such as dynamic, live, race videos; contestant profiles; odds; order of arrival and other gaming information.
