MultiCam Inc. (DFW Airport, TX) is introducing the Digital Express high-speed, digital registration, routing and knife-cutting system. Table sizes range from 60 x 60 in. to 80 x 120 in., with a high-flow vacuum table as a standard feature. Router options range from 2.7 to 5.5 HP, with spindle speeds up to 50,000 rps. Up to three knife-cutting heads can be configured with high-frequency oscillating, drag-knife, kiss-cutting, rotary-knife or creasing-wheel cartridge options. The all-steel, stress-relieved base frame features 25mm linear bearings in the x and y axes. Brushless digital AC servo motors with single-axis rapid-traverse speeds of 2,400 ipm drive all axes. MultiVision digital registration system is standard.
