Mutoh America Inc. (Phoenix) is presenting vinyl and banner media that it’s tested and optimized for the company’s 1608 hybrid printer, which uses Mubio inks, and 1618 dual-headed printer, which employs Eco Ultra inks. Mutoh offers the following materials:

• Smooth DS Banner, a 12-oz., 14-mil, two-sided, polyester-knit banner media that accepts most solvent-based and UV inks, and is sold in 150-ft.-long rolls and 38-, 54- and 64-in. widths;
• a 13-oz., matte or glossy, scrim, 15-mil, one-sided, solvent- or UV-ink receptive banner material with a polyester core and white vinyl that’s designed to accept solvent and UV media (Mutoh offer 150-ft.-long rolls in 38-, 54- and 64-in. widths); and,
• Mutoh Smooth DS Banner, a 14-oz., 16-mil, two-sided, opaque media designed for interior or short-term exterior banner applications that accepts solvent and UV inks and is sold in 150-ft.-long rolls in 38-, 54- and 64-in. widths
