NEC/JetBlue LCD Display Wins Apex Award

NEC Display Solutions of America (Itasca, IL) has won an APEX Award at the Digital Signage Expo for its JetBlue Digital Signage Ring at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in NYC. The entry won top honors in the public-space category.

The Digital Signage Ring comprises 43, 40-in. NEC LCD monitors installed in an oval suspended from the ceiling. The deployment decorate the new Terminal 5. JetBlue also purchased more than 200 LCD displays from NEC for its FIDs throughout the terminal.
