Nimlok Celebrates 50th Anniversary

Nimlok (Woodridge, IL), a division of Orbus Exhibit & Display Group, is marking 50 years in business this month. Nimlok produces portable, modular and custom exhibits and displays, and works via a network of 200 partners in 56 countries to provide strategy and execution in exhibit design, construction, installation, dismantling and storage.

Nimlok was founded in 1970 by photographer Neil Nimmo, who became a successful commercial photographer with a need for a portable backdrop. This led him to invent a lock-and-clip reconfigurable panel system.

“I am so proud of Nimlok’s growth, innovation and progress over the past 50 years,” said Simon Perutz, chairman of Orbus Exhibit & Display Group. “It is a global brand with companies in the United Kingdom, United States, Australia, Italy and Canada. Cheers to the next 50 remarkable years!”
