NUtec Amethyst A50-RIG Inks Certified GREENGUARD GOLD

NUtec Digital Ink (Capetown, South Africa) recently attained GREENGUARD GOLD status for its Amethyst A50-RIG range of UV-curable inks, demonstrating the company’s commitment to sustainable products.

The Amethyst A50-RIG UV-curable inks are designed for rigid substrates and suitable for use without primer on a variety of materials, including polycarbonate, melamine, glass, wood, acrylic and ceramics. Developed for both conventional and ED UV lamp curing, the inks are compatible with various printhead types from Fujifilm, Konica Minolta, Xaar, ToshibaTec, Ricoh and Seiko. The Amethyst range is available in CMYK, lights, white and varnish options.

Products need to meet some of the world’s most demanding chemical emissions standards to be certified for Greenguard. The Greenguard Gold certification standard is the highest level achievable and ensures that products are acceptable for use in sensitive environments such as hospitals and schools.
