ONYX Graphics Inc. (Salt Lake City) is releasing its version 1.2 SmartApps™ VehicleWraps and Sign & Banner plug-ins for Adobe® Illustrator® software. The two, RIP-independent plug-ins optimize workflow and cut costs for wide-format printing operations. Onyx says the affordable, user-friendly plug-ins apply to either Macintosh or Windows platforms and are complementary to any wide-format RIP software.
SmartApps VehicleWraps plug-in allows you to combine vehicle-wrap design and paneling within one application. Use the SmartApps Sign &Banner plug-in to prepare all aspects of a sign or banner, including grommet marks, bleeds and folds. Both plug-ins work within Adobe Illustrator software; they provide useful tools in just a few clicks, the company states.
Version 1.2 of SmartApps VehicleWraps and Sign & Banner plug-ins include Windows 8 and Mac OSX Mountain Lion (10.8.2) OS support.
