Orbus Achieves G7 Certification

Orbus Exhibit & Display Group (Bolingbrook, IL) is announcing its achievement of G7 master-print certification. The company, which operates 10 printers, produces tradeshow graphics and hardware for banners, lightboxes and dye-sublimated, fabric displays. According to the company, the certification is common in commercial printing, but relatively new for inkjet-print providers. G7 specifications include defining a color-metric definition for gray balance and a step-by-step method, outlining the ideal colorimetric and CMY gray-tone curves for an image, and calibrating proofing systems and printers to match these tone curves.
