Orbus Adds 16-ft. Durst P5 500 Tex iSub to Its Printers

Orbus (Chicago) announces the purchase and implementation of a 16-ft. Durst P5 500 TEX iSUb grand format printer. This expands production capabilities and reinforces Orbus’ position as an industry innovator, having become the second company in the US to offer this wide printing technology, according to a press release.

The Durst P5 500 TEX iSub enables Orbus to produce seamless, 16-ft.-wide graphics delivering cleaner visuals, efficient turnaround time and print quality. This technology broadens Orbus’s ability to support large-scale applications in trade shows and live events, per the release.

“This is a major milestone for Orbus and our partners,” Jaime Herand, SVP of US exhibit operations, is quoted in the press release. “The 16-ft. Durst printer allows us to deliver larger, more impactful graphics faster and more efficiently without compromising quality. It also gives our dealer network access to capabilities that are still extremely rare in the US market.”
