Orbus Earns Environmental Certification

The Orbus Exhibit & Display Group, headquartered in Bolingbrook, IL, a supplier of display, exhibit and event solutions has announced that its newest facility in Las Vegas has achieved ISO 14001 environmental management certification.
The ISO 14001:2004 standard is primarily concerned with the approach of environmental management, which provides guidance for an organization to:

· Enhance positive effects on the environment caused by business activities

· Prevent pollution

· Achieve continual improvement of environmental performance

Orbus’ Las Vegas and Bolingbrook both passed the first stage of audits for ISO 9001:2008 manufacturing process certification. This standard establishes criteria for a quality management and manufacturing system that ensures an organization’s products and services consistently meet its clients’ requirements, and that it constantly improves.

Orbus’ Bolingbrook and Niles, IL facilities have been recommended for recertification of the ISO 14001 environmental-management standard. The Niles, IL facility successfully recertified to ISO 9001 in March 2012.
