Pin-Up Signage, Part Two

The United States Sign Council (USSC), Bristol, PA, conducted its annual 2007 Sign Design Competition, which attracted approximately 200 submissions from U.S. signshops. The panel of judges weighed each entry based on appearance, creativity and visual impact.

The winners were announced at the USSC’s Sign World tradeshow, in Atlantic City, November 29 to December 1. All submissions were displayed on the tradeshow floor, and the 13 first-place winners will be displayed on USSC’s 2008 calendar.

Although they may not create quite the buzz of such legendary calendar girls as Betty Grable or Elle Macpherson, these winners will undoubtedly make the hearts of sign designers, fabricators and aficionados flutter.
