Planar’s Clarity Matrix

Planar Systems, a specialty-display manufacturer, has announced availability of the Clarity Matrix, a narrow-bezel LCD with a video-wall system designed for use in control rooms and public venues. The system is suitable for control-room applications or digital signage at retail venues, sports arenas, hospitality venues, airports and other space-constrained public environments.
The 46-in.-diagonal, 700-nit, commercial-grade LCD panels boast a minimal, 7.3mm image-to-image gap when tiles together and a 178-degree viewing angle. The display weighs 48 lbs., including brackets.
The Huntsville (AL) Intl. Airport recently installed 21 Matrix screens to display flight information and local TV broadcasting. Their unique mounting accommodated the curved video wall.
