Portland-area Transit Authority Uses TransGrafix

Visual Marking Systems Inc. (VMS), Twinsburg, OH, has recently partnered with TriMet, the Portland-area transit authority, to create and install 37 ADA-compliant, raised-character signs. The signs comprise durable TransGrafix®, VMS’ unique transportation signage and marking material. The products are reportedly highly resistant to chemicals, graffiti, vandalism and weather.

TriMet plans to incorporate similar signs in an even larger scale over the next two years to coincide with the opening of the Portland Mall Light Rail Project in September 2009.

VMS provides high-impact product markings for today’s OEM, corporate-identification, transportation and fleet-graphic markets.
